There is a new Straight Talk smartphone in town. It’s called the Nokia E5 (and yes, it is in some ways similar to the Nokia E71, another recently released ST smartphone. The Nokia 6790 is also available alongside these two phone selections, bringing Straight Talk’s smart phone count up to three.
The Straight Talk Nokia E5 (click this link for a full length review at Veritable Plethora) is a much-awaited prepaid phone because it is a decently high-end smart phone available with a prepaid plan. And an unlimited prepaid plan at that. In fact, you can only select Straight Talk’s unlimited plan for use with this phone–but it’s the only plan you would want anyways.

What’s the best phone here? Nokia E71, E5 or the new Android Optimus Q? Don’t know which one to go for right now…
Is the Nokia E5 worth buying? Or should I go for one of the new deals on the nokia e71 or 6790? Or the android precedent fro straight talk?
I think you should choose whichever phone you like. The Nokia E71 deal is pretty compelling. $99 for a brand new phone or $49 for a used phone. Have a look at that one.
