Metro PCS Family Plan Gains Popularity

by John on August 3, 2014

The Metro PCS Family Plan gives you the option of saving $5 off of every phone line that you add to your Metro PCS account up to five lines.  This is a good plan for people who obviously have several people they want to provide cell phones for.  The base level price of the Metro PCS unlimited plan is $40 so with this discount (that a lot of people are really loving) you get to pay only $35 per phone line that you decide to add.  The best place to buy these plans is on MetroPCS.com, the official site.  You can also find all current deals and promotions at the website–it’s the best way to work with Metro PCS.

The Metro PCS unlimited family plan is designed to subsidize the payment of several phone lines for people who pay for more than one phone line.  It’s only $5 per line per month, but that can really add up, and it’s one of the reasons why Metro PCS is getting more popular every single day.  You’ve seen all the commercials on TV–Metro PCS is trying to get the word out about its plan and is trying to compete against all the other carriers.  Speaking of other carriers, you probably also want to check out the Net10 unlimited plan and the Straight Talk unlimited plan, although there aren’t any bonus savings for paying for multiple phone lines.  This is the true advantage of the Metro PCS Family plans.  Metro also recently added a bunch of new phones to its lineup and they look really good–there are even a couple of Android phones like the Optimus phone.  This is another strength of this plan: you can use any of the MetroPCS phones on this plan, which is a huge plus!

Don’t bother with metro pcs. I dropped them and went with TracFone. The service is amazingly cheap and infinitely better.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about TracFone.

MetroPCS seems like a decent company but I looked at the plan chart and it doesn’t seem like I will save a lot of money over my verizon family plan. oh well, maybe next year.

Does metro-pcs provide individual privacy protection for each of the lines on a family plan, irrespective of whose name is on the account?
