Straight Talk recently released its latest Android device.  It’s the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, which is very similar to Veirzon’s Samsung Illusion.  The phone is fast, it streams youtube videos, and it has a decent sized camera.  This phone is notable because it actually runs on Verizon’s network through the Straight Talk service, opening it up to thousands more customers across the country.  Paired with the $45 per month deal for unlimited talk, text, and web, the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim is a really solid phone that loads data quickly and works great.  You can’t find a better deal in the prepaid world than this.  You can get data download speeds of 1000 mb per second on 3G, which is really good. The Nokia E5 is one of the best Straight Talk smartphones available right now. The only phone that’s really nicer I would say is the LG Optimus Black, which is also available on the Straight Talk website. I’m sort of a phone nerd, so I love watching these video walkthroughs of phones. I think it’s really helpful to see the phone in action before I buy it, especially since I buy most of my phones online and I know that a lot of my readers do too. LG Optimus Black is a formidable prepaid phone.  Not only is it an android phone, which means it has access to the android marketplace, where you can download apps for your phone, but it also runs on the Unlimited Straight Talk plan, which is a solid plan that a lot of people are making the switch to.

LG Optimus Black’s 2 cameras give you the ability to snap photographs and video, but also the ability to video chat with the smaller front facing camera.  It’s a nice convenience.  The bigger camera is a 5 megapixel camera so it’s no slouch.  Overall, this is a very nice phone and when you add in the fact that it has no contract associated with it, you might like the phone just a little bit more.
